3rd Annual Celtic Fest – Fort George

Slainté mhaith! Join us in Niagara-On-The-Lake for an event celebrating Celtic/Gaelic Culture – merchants, music & merryment – in historic Fort George! This is the 3rd annual Celtic Fest and features Merchants, the Niagara Regional Police Pipe & Drum Band, musical comedy group The Tartan Terrors, Celtic Dancing, Cannon/Musket Demonstrations, a “Cheer” Tent, Kid’s Game Zone, individual Pipe Band performances and of course, the Massed Band!

We shall have our usual eclectic selection of goods (many one-of-a-kind); including some unique Pewter Tankards (for the cold stuff) and handmade in Canada Ceramic Mugs (for the hot stuff). Of course we will have a limited supply of premium Buffalo Sage.

  • 10:00 am – Fort Opens
  • 10:30 am – Flag Raising Ceremony
  • 11:00 am – Celtic Parade: Downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake
  • 12:00 pm – Cannon Firing
  • 12:00 pm – 8:00pm – Cheer Tent with live Celtic music
  • 1:00 pm – 4:15 pm – Individual Pipe Band and Dance Performances
  • 1:30 pm – The Tartan Terrors
  • 4:45 pm – Massed Band
