32nd Annual Siege of Fort Erie

Join us Sat. 12 Aug. & Sun. 13 Aug. (10am-5pm)  at Old Fort Erie for the 32nd reenactment of the 1814 Siege at Old Fort Erie – Canada’s largest annual War of 1812 re-enactment! Admission to the event, all merchants and all battle displays is FREE. Night Battle at 8pm, Special Lantern Tour 9pm. Regular admission for tours of the Fort, including the special “Lantern Tour” Saturday evening.

Battle reenactments, Merchants, Military Encampments…and one very big explosion (during the night battle) as the powder store is hit and the Fort explodes (historically, this Fort was destroyed multiple times by BOTH sides)!

Traditional medicines (including the best White Buffalo Sage), healing salves, traditional clay pipes, resin, trade silver, pelts, beads, wool mittens and much more!

Visit the many fine merchants including the only other authentic First Nations traders at the site; Bad Billy’s Blades!
