Virtual Tent

We are sorely missing Pow Wow this year – as I’m sure you all are! The core of such gatherings is the community spirit – seeing friends you’ve missed & catching up, hearing the drums & singers, watching the dancers, enjoying the food and conversation. Things will be different for a while and so, we are all finding other ways to stay connected.

We are fortunate to live in a time when we are able to make a phone call, send an email, chat in real time, even practice our songs over the internet! Make the best use of this that you’re able – check in on people, especially those who may need a hand, or just a friendly ear to listen. Never has the Dish With One Spoon wampum held a more important message.

Of course, we still need to deal with the usual things like food, shelter, looking after our health and such…which can be a little challenging in the middle of a pandemic! So…once again, we turn to this new connective technology as we pitch our “virtual tent” and display our trade goods for your perusal & purchase.

We’ve been adding more items to our online shop; medicines, pelts, adornments…please have a look- and if there’s anything you think we’ve missed, contact us and we’ll see what we can do!
