Journey back in time with us to Backus Heritage Conservation Area, Sept. 9 & 10 for the annual 1812 reenactment.

More than 200 Soldiers, Merchants & others set up camp – in addition to the buildings on site. Activities take place from 10am – 8pm Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sunday.

Find our tent for the best White Buffalo Sage, Minigan Salve and an assortment of other First Nations trade goods – and visit our Haudenosaunee & Métis cousins at Bad Billys Blades for hand forged blades of all kinds, drinking horns and traditional Wampum belts!

The event is free, but Park admission applies ($8 single Adult, only $14 for a carload of 2 or more – $13 for Seniors). Parking is free.
