Fort George Reenactment 2019

It’s free to visit the merchants outside the Fort, the weekend of July 13 & 14 from 10am-5pm. We will be there with our varied selection of traditional trade goods & medicines! We are proud to represent the thousands of First Nations warriors who fought alongside British & ‘Canadian’ Militia forces in the War of 1812 and were responsible for many of the British victories.

The Battle of Fort George was one of the pivotal events during the War of 1812. Re-enactors from all over North America descend on Fort George to relive this historic battle with muskets, cannons, and music! Join us to commemorate the 206th anniversary of the Battle of Fort George.
