Into The Woods

You’ve certainly heard the expression, “We’re not out of the woods yet” – especially during the last few years.

This needs to be replaced; we LOVE the “woods”. Trees, forests, jungles, swamps, marshes, bayous…”The Woods” are what keep us alive! They help provide clean air, shelter, food & medicines, windbreaks, prevent land subsiding, relief from stress and a place to visit our animal relatives.

Here are some ideas:

  • Business like: We have yet to complete our tasks.
  • Navigational: We’re not there yet.
  • Sporty: It’s only the second inning.
  • Medical: We’re hopeful for a full recovery.

Take the time to go into the woods – or whatever your nearest approximation of the natural world is (greenhouse, aquarium, etc.) – breathe in deeply, breathe out fully, and take time to be thankful for that breath. If we all did that more often, we’d all be healthier (mentally & physically) and maybe then, things would run more smoothly!
